TEAM SKYETM runs the ING NYC Marathon!
Thank you to four awesome dads, the "fore"runners of TEAM SKYE: Paul Alston (Skye's Dad), Sam Brace, Clinton Hardy and Desi Singletary - for running the ING NYC Marathon on Sunday, November 5, 2006. Amsterdam News (November 2006) writes, "their [Team Skye] ultimate goal is focused on raising awareness about the life-altering impact that stillbirth has on families, particularly fathers." Paul and TEAM SKYE ran for the fathers who suffer silently, and for the families whose lives have been changed forever due to infant death. Every step of their 26.2 mile journey on November 5th was a step toward hope, a step toward healing, so that fewer families will experience this heartache.
